Restricted Locations

Ripstead is only available where it is lawful. This page lists where the Service is not available. It forms part of our Terms of Service. We use location checks, including IP-address checks, to enforce these restrictions. Using a VPN, proxy or other tool to get around them breaks our Terms.
1. Sanctioned countries and regions
The Service is not available to anyone located in, or ordinarily resident in:
- Cuba
- Iran
- North Korea
- Syria
- the Crimea region of Ukraine, and the areas of Ukraine known as the so-called Donetsk People's Republic and Luhansk People's Republic
It is also unavailable in any other country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions by the United States, the United Nations, the European Union or the United Kingdom.
2. Sanctioned persons
You may not use the Service if you are named on, or owned or controlled by someone named on, a government sanctions list. These lists include the U.S. Treasury's Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) list and the consolidated sanctions lists of the United Nations, the European Union and the United Kingdom.
3. United States
The Service is not available to people located in these U.S. states and territories:
Washington, Idaho, Nevada, Michigan and Montana.
4. Other countries
The Service is also not available in:
Russia; Belarus; Belgium, where paid packs with random contents may be treated as gambling; and mainland China (see below).
Mainland China: the Service is not currently available there. People in Hong Kong and Taiwan can use it where local law allows.
5. Features with their own restrictions
Some features have extra restrictions. For example, promotions and giveaways may be limited to certain locations under their official rules. We can only ship to the countries shown at checkout. Where local law requires, we may switch off Sell-Back, promotions or a Pack style for players in that location, and we will show this in your account.
6. If a restriction starts to apply to you
If you move to a restricted location, or a location you are in becomes restricted, we will limit your account. We will not take your Collectibles or Credit because of it. You will have at least 90 days to:
- ship the Collectibles in your Vault to an address in a location we ship to; or
- sell them back to us, where lawful.
We will tell you how any remaining Credit will be handled, in line with the law that applies to you.
7. Changes
Laws change, so we update this list from time to time. The version on this page is the one that applies.
